Usually there will be two sides to every story.  Stemming from this universally accepted truth its safe to assume 9/10 times there will be two sides to every person you meet. (Honestly, there's many layers but at sake of going off the deep end we'll just keep it at two) It's rare we acquaint ourselves with people  who will show us their real self first time around. These inner coils which design our make up tend to unravel as we motion forward till the ultimate truth is revealed. I use myself as a Case In Point... My world is full of duality. In a vanilla world I pride myself on being the Chocolate Swirl creating balance and honoring the differences which make this world so yummy.  Xponential Curve is the name, #FearlessFocusedandFresh is my handle and I surround myself with like minds producing Fashion, Music & Art which will transcend time.

Take my lady Catherine Schuller.  Known in the industry as one of the first Plus Models signed with the Ford Model Agency, her career as a Fashion Icon set the standard during the 1980's on size diversity. An exterior casing created to draw in potential lovers, friends and opportunities. Social Pea-cocking can either hide or enhance your inner self depending on the message you relay in comparison to who you are on the daily... Fashion is more than just covering our bodies. It's universally understood Fashion is the statement you make to the world and that the world is your runway. This truth explains why Runway the Real Way is so necessary. We have real bodies in our real world yearning for styles to suit individuality. Insanely talented indie designers are no longer veiled from exposure due to designer namesakes dominating the industry. Runway the Real Way is setting out to Dominate the crowd at the Museum of Sex with fashions for everyday wear to fashions derived of a distinct palette and it seems the word is spreading.

Achromaticity

Another part of my weekend was getting to be a part of the 'Achromaticity' closing art gala for Jose Pagan Photography's unapologetic Black Light Photo Experiment with a black and white twist. Hosted by La LaChocolates Lukes of PNC Radio, the Achromaticity Art Gala 'Void of Color Full of Life' was a huge success with the event taking place at Jazz Lounge & NYC Staple Billies Black of Harlem. Through his perspective on Art Nude Jose goes beyond the lens as he constructs many of the props used on set to create the alternate worlds seen in his High Fashion shoots & Creative Photography realms. Insider Alert!! Unique Blends Models Fashion Week Casting Call (and other goodies)

   

Unique Blend Models... The name says it all and now Founder and CEO of UBM Andrene 'Ladydoves' Williams will be producing the companies first ever Fashion Week with their Casting Call to be held on Saturday April 4th 2015 in Dany Studios NYC . UBM is seeking a model composition diverse in flavor who are well equipped with the curves necessary to serve it up on the Runway. Both Men and Women are invited to attend the casting by clicking the Eventbright invite and printing their complimentary entry ticket. Once you do you are well on your way to be not only considered to walk in the first ever Fashion Week production from the UBM Brand but you will be strutting for some of the Plus Size Fashions worlds most respected figures. FEMALE MODELS CASTING for the Birds of Paradise show will be led by Jeannie Ferguson. Casting is from 2:30pm - 5:30pm.

Please note that ALL MODELS need to be present to be considered. Ladies, please have your heels on prior to entering into the casting room...no boots or wedges allowed. Please wear black leggings and black tank top.

MALE MODELS CASTING (Suits-N-Swag) will be led by Allen Owtrage Bush and Donte Peay, CEO of Shades of Chocolate. Casting is from 6:00pm - 8:30pm. Guys, please come well groomed and ready to strut.
